Overview

The Program Sales Account Specialist's responsibility is to support the assigned foodservice chain(s). This includes ensuring program objectives and responsibilities are executed within the established guidelines, along with daily support of the Account Executive. The Account Specialist is the customer liaison and should be in daily contact with the customer and the Account Executive and should be ready to help with all support needs.

The pay range is between $27.80/hour and $29.80/hour.

This role is a Tuesday through Saturday position from 7:30 AM to 4 PM (flexibility to provide coverage on off days)



Responsibilities

  • This role will support both our foodservice and wholesale warehouses and systems
  • Make sure all customer orders are in the system by the designated customer cut-off times.
  • Manage group email to resolve issues that arise.
  • Handling customer issues on Saturday deliveries. Recoveries and who to call, with escalation path.
  • Order confirmations from foodservice accounts to review for JIT and special order items. Wholesale daily reporting needed for outs, unauthorized and allocations. Communicate to customers
  • Run any additional reporting needed by the Account Executive
  • Support special project at the direction of Jr. Account Executive, Account Executives and/or Director – flexibility to pivot as needed for the department
  • Submit new item number request (as needed, in emergency).
  • Maintain order guides.
  • Ensure customers are well supported daily and that Harbor’s customer service team needs are communicated to the Account Executive when issues arise.
  • Develop strong partnerships with internal departments and external customer base to help support the Account Executive and deliver a high level of service.
  • Help communicate all product information internally and externally.
  • Monitor inventory reports and work with the Account Executive to ensure adequate inventory for key programs and customer concepts.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Foodservice product knowledge required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Strong Microsoft office skills in addition to all office programs.
  • Ability to work on projects under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Experience with working in a fast paced and stressful environment.
  • Experience working in the foodservice industry preferred.
