Responsibilities

This is a full-time remote position that can be located anywhere in the U.S. Applicants must have current and ongoing authorization to work in the US without employer sponsorship.

 

  • Draft, monitor, and evaluate technical and training content, ensuring comments and questions are addressed and content is updated accordingly.
  • Leverage AI tools to facilitate our stakeholders’ capability to self-serve in regards to queries and simple content generation based on the material and structure we build into our systems.
  • Utilize in-product guidance tools to provide “just in time” support exactly when and where our customers need it.
  • Edit submitted content for clarity and style, ensuring information is technically accurate.
  • Stay current on any product updates and issues that may require knowledge solutions.
  • Work closely with other departments such as product development to improve integration and facilitate the seamless exchange of information.
  • Promote knowledge sharing of the organization's information and experience both inside and outside the organization.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Technical Writing or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge with building and managing relationships with project managers and  subject matter experts.
  • Familiar with in-product guidance tools like WalkMe.
  • Experience writing technical training material.
  • Experience writing for the web.
  • Familiar with editing SME submitted content for clarity and style.
  • Familiar in content organization for both workflow and ease of search.
  • Experience following corporate style guides.
  • Experience with DITA and Heretto is a plus

 

Software Knowledge:

  • Experience with Source Control Applications (e.g. TFS).
  • Experience with Madcap Flare  and Capture preferred.
  • Experience with other content authoring tools (e.g. FrameMaker, RoboHelp, MS Word, InDesign, XHTML, CSS) and image capture tools (e.g. SnagIt, Photoshop) acceptable.
