Salesforce Administrator

Location: Fairport, NY Headquarters (in office)
Department: Information Technology / Business Systems
Reports To: Marketing Manager


The Salesforce Administrator will play a key role in driving business efficiency and system optimization across Spartronics. This role is responsible for managing, configuring, and enhancing Salesforce to meet business requirements and support strategic growth initiatives. The successful candidate will partner closely with business leaders, IT, and end-users to ensure our Salesforce environment is reliable, scalable, and delivering value to the organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary system administrator for Salesforce, including user management, permissions, roles, profiles, and data security.
  • Configure Salesforce features such as workflows, approval processes, custom objects, fields, record types, page layouts, and dashboards.
  • Maintain system documentation, training materials, and process flows to support adoption and ongoing user education.
  • Manage data integrity, imports/exports, de-duplication, and system integrations with other business applications.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and system enhancements.
  • Monitor system performance, releases, and updates to ensure smooth operation and adoption of new features.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot Salesforce-related issues.
  • Collaborate with external Salesforce consultants or vendors as needed for advanced solutions.
Requirements:


  • Certifications- Salesforce Administrator Certification required. Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, or additional Salesforce certifications are a plus.
  • Education- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or Data Analytics preferred.
  • 1-2 years of Salesforce Administration experience in a multi-user environment required.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce best practices, security, customization, and system architecture.
  • Experience with Salesforce reporting, dashboards, and analytics.
  • Proficiency with data management tools such as Data Loader or similar.
  • Familiarity with third-party apps, integrations, and APIs preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.
