Job Summary:

We’re looking for a tenacious, high-energy Business Development Representative (BDR) who thrives on uncovering opportunity and sparking meaningful conversations with influencers and decision-makers. You’ll be the first point of contact for prospects, driving engagement through outbound outreach and inbound lead follow-up. If you’re coachable, self-motivated, and eager to grow in a fast-paced tech environment, we’ll give you the tools and training to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Territory Sales Managers (Inside Sales) and Regional Sales Managers (Field Sales) to build sales pipeline and accelerate revenue growth.
  • Identify, qualify, and nurture leads within your assigned territory.
  • Execute daily outreach via calls and emails to move prospects through the funnel.
  • Follow up on inbound leads from marketing campaigns and proactively engage target accounts.
  • Craft personalized follow-up strategies to deepen engagement and drive interest in Quantum’s solutions.
  • Consistently meet or exceed quarterly goals for meetings booked and sales opportunities converted.
  • Maintain accurate lead records and activity tracking in CRM systems and prospecting tools (i.e (Outreach.IO).

What You Bring

  • 1-2 years of experience in telemarketing, cold calling, or lead generation.
  • Strong communication skills - listening, writing, and speaking with clarity and confidence.
  • Familiarity with IT, enterprise storage, or software sales is a plus.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms, and prospecting platforms preferred.
  • Resilience and focus in a high-volume, high-impact environment.
  • Ability to build rapport with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Organized, goal-oriented, and driven by results.
  • Growth mindset with a hunger to learn and improve.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Anticipated Salary Range: $75,000 to $90,000 for qualified applicants.

The above pay range represents Quantum's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. Pay within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, relevant experience, knowledge/education, skills/abilities, internal equity, and budgetary considerations.
