Description
This position supports the Navy Fleet and Family Support contract. NFFS delivers comprehensive Fleet and Family Support Program (FFSP) services worldwide, ensuring consistent, high-quality support for active-duty Sailors, retirees, eligible civilians overseas, and their families. The program implements, evaluates, and continually refines established FFSP offerings—developing the concepts, structures, and processes needed to maximize well-being across all installations. Key objectives include providing global staffing to supplement existing FFSP personnel through remote or surge/on-demand support, and delivering webinar hosting, production, and facilitation via a robust learning-management system.
The Enterprise System Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, administration, support, and maintenance of enterprise systems and cloud-based applications supporting the Navy’s Fleet and Family Support Program (FFSP). This role manages system infrastructure and platform services, implements best practices to maintain availability and performance, and ensures compliance with DoD and Navy security requirements. Responsibilities include configuring and monitoring cloud-hosted environments, maintaining system documentation, managing user access, and coordinating updates and enhancements across multiple platforms and partner applications. Experience with Salesforce, Amazon Connect, or similar cloud-based solutions is preferred.

Primary Responsibilities:
Configure, manage, and maintain NFFS system platforms, including core solutions such as Salesforce, Amazon Connect and related applications.
Manage the functionality, availability, and efficiency of one or more enterprise systems and supporting services.
Set up and maintain user, administrator, and service accounts; configure roles, permissions, and access controls to meet security and operational requirements.
Develop and maintain system documentation, including configurations, procedures, and operational guides.
Monitor and tune system performance, schedule and validate backups, and coordinate system recovery processes to ensure business continuity.
Coordinate, validate, and monitor vendor-delivered updates, security patches, and system releases to ensure continuity of operations and compliance across all environments.
Evaluate and recommend improvements to system architecture, configurations, and processes.
Collaborate with end-users and stakeholders to define functional requirements and coordinate with development teams to implement enhancements and resolve issues.
Conduct system audits, configuration reviews, and health checks to maintain compliance, data integrity, and operational readiness.
Troubleshoot system incidents, analyze logs, and provide Level 2 and Level 3 support to resolve complex technical issues.
Coordinate system upgrades, integrations, and migrations in alignment with project schedules and security standards.
Assist with testing, deployment, and validation of new software and platform features.
Provide work direction and technical guidance to less experienced staff, as needed.
Engage with management, partners, and stakeholders on system-related matters across multiple functional areas.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field and 5+ years of experience including experience administering enterprise SaaS platforms OR an Associate's degree in a related field / Bachelor's degree in an unrelated field and 7+ additional years of related experience OR 9+ years additional related experience OR a Master’s degree and 3+ years of related experience.
2+ years of experience administering or supporting Salesforce or similar CRM systems, including managing users, permission sets, and platform configurations.
Experience with cloud-based telephony or contact center solutions, such as Amazon Connect.
Solid working knowledge of FedRAMP compliance, DoD/NIST cybersecurity controls, and secure system configuration standards.
Hands-on experience monitoring system performance and leading incident response, root cause analysis, and environment-wide patching and release management.
Strong written documentation skills, including SOPs, runbooks, and configuration guides.
Due to Government contract, US Citizenship is required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security Clearance.
Reliable hard-wired internet connection and secure, dedicated home office workspace.
