Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Athletics for Club Sports, the Head Esports Coach is responsible for all aspects of the development and administration of a successful Esport Program.
The Roger Williams University Esports team program will be conducted in accordance with the rules of all organizations in the Esports program and currently competing in (CSL and TESPA 2020/2021). The Esport Program will adhere to policies and regulations of the University's Athletics Department.

Overwatch Coach
Must have prior experience with coaching, preferably Tier 3+.
Familiar with scrimmaging format as well as able to host if needed.
Advanced knowledge of Overwatch Metas and Compositions.
Ability to comfortably and cohesively explain thought.
Available to work a flexible schedule of approximately 6-10 hours a week.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to function in a service and team-oriented environment.
Ability to function independently, display strong attention to detail, work under pressure, meet deadlines and prioritize multiple projects.
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively with a variety of individuals, University community including faculty, students, staff, parents and alumni.
Ability to advise and motivate student-athletes.
Must be able to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of two years' experience in Esports coaching and knowledge of the fundamentals, tactics, and strategies with the ability to recruit talented players for the program.
Minimum of 5+ years experience playing League of Legends,
Knowledge and ability to conduct an intercollegiate Esports program with professionalism and in likeness to the level of professionalism displayed by collegiate organizations we compete through (CSL and TESPA).
Follows the professional Esports scene.
