Position Title: Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist

Work Location: NIH Clinical Center, Bethesda, Maryland

Position Purpose: Global Dynamics is seeking a skilled and credentialed CT Technologist to provide advanced diagnostic imaging services at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Clinical Center. This role supports clinical research and patient care by performing high-quality CT scans across a variety of anatomical areas. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, patient-centered care, and full compliance with NIH and federal standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Independently perform CT scans including:

  • Abdominal

  • Brain

  • Vascular

  • Musculoskeletal

  • Other anatomical areas as requested

  • Administer contrast media as required

  • Operate and maintain CT equipment, adapting technical factors to accommodate patient condition

  • Ensure accurate documentation in PACS/RIS and EMR systems

  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other technologists to coordinate care

  • Participate in patient scheduling and urgent/emergent imaging coordination

  • Perform quality control checks and ensure equipment calibration

  • Adhere to HIPAA, safety, and infection control protocols



Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited radiologic technologist program with CT specialization

  • Licensed, certified, and trained to meet local, state, and federal requirements for DEXA imaging

  • Ability to work onsite at NIH Bethesda campus (no relocation reimbursement)

  • Compliance with NIH immunization and health screening requirements:

  • MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Influenza, Tdap

  • TB screening (TST or IGRA)

  • OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen and Universal Precautions training


Credentials

  • ARRT (CT) certification or equivalent recognized credential

Working Conditions and Environment

This position is on-site in a medical facility. Driving may be required.

Physical Requirements

The position requires repetitive motion, such as standing, walking, sitting and bending. Light lifting, up to 20 pounds, may be required.
