About the Role:

As a Maintenance Controller, you ensure maximum safe and compliant aircraft availability by coordinating with Mission Control on all maintenance-related events. You manage aircraft maintenance through the effective oversight of people, parts, and processes, ensuring seamless execution and supporting the overall safety and reliability of the fleet.


A Day in the Life:

Your day will be fast-paced and collaborative, focused on keeping our fleet safe, compliant, and mission-ready. Typical responsibilities include:


  • Maintenance Coordination: Work closely with Mission Control, Flight Crews, and JSX Maintenance to evaluate discrepancies and determine if they qualify for deferral using approved OEM and Company Manuals.
  • Problem-Solving: Recommend corrective actions for discrepancies by analyzing aircraft service history, referencing Maintenance Manuals, and leveraging operator experience.
  • System Oversight: Monitor and update the Aircraft Out of Service Application and related systems—including ETRs, parts, and work status—to ensure accurate, real-time tracking.
  • Performance Monitoring: Alert Maintenance Leadership when mechanical issues arise that impact fleet performance or operational reliability.
  • Technical Support: Take on additional technical service tasks, special projects, and assignments as directed by the Maintenance Control Supervisor.
  • Training & Compliance: Stay up to date with all training requirements to ensure you are fully qualified before performing job functions and responsibilities.

  • Required Experience:
  • High school diploma/GED
  • 5 Year industry experience (aircraft maintenance/technical operations) with a Part 121 or 135 operator
  • Experience in the use of maintenance reference materials, including Manufacturer's Maintenance Manuals, Structural Repair Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalogs, Component Manuals, etc.
  • Ability to work within a team-oriented, high-paced work environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills within a cross-functional team environment
  • Must be detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and task management skills
  • Expertise in applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), General Operation Manuals, and MELs

  • Preferred Experience:
  • Valid Passport

  • Skill, Licenses, & Certifications:
  • A current and valid Driver’s license is required with Real ID
  • Violation-free A&P Certificate


  • Pay & Perks:

    Compensation is $95,000 - $105,000/hour. This was established after performing market research and is aligned with our approach to compensation.
