Description:

We are searching for a Facilities Project Manager responsible for supporting the planning and activity of site-wide campus facility projects, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, chemical, etc. The Project Manager will represent Texas Biomed in new building design and construction, facility reconfiguration/renovation, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, infrastructure, and other facilities.


The Role:

· Gather and review data concerning construction facility or equipment, external requirements, required completion date, and solution feasibility and estimated cost.

· Prepare bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition.

· Inspect or direct the inspection of construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules.

· Prepare specifications for purchases of materials or equipment.

· Develop budgets, estimating labor, material, and construction costs.

· Review construction proposals and project scopes.

· Assess project feasibility by analyzing resource needs, and organizational demand.

· Coordinate with All Vendors pertaining to all Construction Project Scope.

· Field Measure and assist with all Shop and Fabrication Drawings.

· Lead project teams from onset through post implementation.

· Lead project plan, including all necessary metrics and scope; manage construction project schedule.

· Maintain project scope, schedule and budget.

· Represent TX Biomed in Construction Project Field Meetings.

· Create Project Phase Plan for all New and Existing Construction Projects.

· Develop construction project plans, resources and budgets.

· Manage project deadlines and ensure timeliness.


Our Ideal Candidate:

Requires a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university

5- 7 years job specific experience required
