Job Title: Manager – OpEx (Operational Excellence)


Job Location: Manila

 

As an OpEx manager you will lead initiatives to enhance First Choice, Continuous improvement cycle and business continuity. This role promotes excellence, standardization, continuous improvement and resilience through First Choice tools, data analytics and standard frameworks including audits and quality control - delivering measurable impact on Training index, Use Case submission, Best practices sharing and adoption and Resilience metrics.

 

Key Responsibilities:


First Choice & Continuous Improvement

  • Facilitate First Choice trainings and workshops to embed a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Lead and mentor continuous improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma (DMAIC) methodology and First Choice tools.
  • Conduct value stream mapping, time and motion studies, and baseline APT/FTE efficiency analysis.
  • Drive metric-based improvement initiatives aligned with strategic goals.

Business Continuity Management (BCMS)

  • Manage BCMS ISO 22301:2019 implementation and certification efforts.
  • Conduct BCP training refreshers across departments to enhance resilience.
  • Act as a key member of the Emergency Response Team.

Internal Audit & Quality Framework

  • Implement ISO 9001:2015 internal audit procedures to improve quality and ensure data quality.
  • Monitor compliance with global frameworks and drive standardization.
  • Publish audit outcomes and recommend improvement actions to Center SMT.

Stakeholder Management & Project Leadership

  • Foster a culture of quality, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Delivery and Support functions to align performance goals and improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure transparent communication of First Choice programs and BCMS initiatives.

Governance & Performance Measurement

  • Establish governance to track progress on process maturity and performance metrics
  • Lead forums to review First Choice initiatives and ensure accountability
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership

AI & Automation Integration

  • Identify efficiency opportunities through process automation or productivity improvement.
 

Educational Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree (any)
  • 5+ years of experience in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent certification, preferred
  • ISO 9001:2015 Internal or Lead Auditor certified, preferred
  • ISO 22301:2019 BCMS certified, preferred.
  • Proven experience in AI and Automation applications for operations.
  • Expertise in lean management practices and tools
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to present actionable insights
  • Strategic thinker focused on measurable outcomes
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Proficient in project management with attention to detail
  • Change management expertise to drive adoption
  • Collaborative skills with diverse teams
