Grow together

We are seeking an Associate DevOps Engineer to build secure, scalable services and accelerate our Agentic AI roadmap. You’ll develop in Python with additional work in Java and Node.js, champion DevSecOps across the lifecycle, and turn AI use cases into robust, production-ready solutions. You’ll partner with global teams, communicating clearly in English and working autonomously to deliver outcomes under time and workload pressure.

Key responsibilities include:

  • AI Delivery: Prototype, evaluate, and operationalize LLM/Agentic AI solutions (prompt engineering, prompt-chaining, guardrails, evaluation).
  • Design & Build: Design, implement, and maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations with high availability and performance.
  • Secure SDLC: Embed security by design; implement CI/CD, automated testing, code quality gates, and vulnerability scanning.
  • Operational Excellence: Instrument services for logging, metrics, tracing and agent observability; drive reliability, incident prevention, and post-mortems.
  • Collaboration: Partner with product, data, and security teams across regions; refine requirements and plan increments using Agile methods.
  • Code Quality: Uphold standards through reviews, pair programming, and documentation; mentor peers on best practices.
  • Version Control & Workflow: Manage branching strategies, PR hygiene, and releases using Git and project management tools.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and deliver process/tooling improvements that speed up delivery without compromising security or quality.

Ready to embark on the journey? Here’s what we are looking for:

As an Associate DevOps Engineer, your interest in both Agentic AI and software engineering will be essential. A willingness to learn, strong communication skills, and foundational knowledge in both development and application support will set you up for success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Programming: Strong proficiency in Python; practical experience with Java and Node.js.
  • AI Foundations: Hands-on integrating LLM/Agentic AI solutions, including prompt design, tool/API calling, retrieval/embeddings, short-term memory, guardrails/safety, and offline/online evaluation.
  • DevSecOps: Hands-on with CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps), containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and security tooling (SAST/DAST, dependency scanning, secrets management).
  • Software Methodologies: Solid understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum), testing strategies (unit/integration/e2e), and documentation practices.
  • Tooling: Proficient with Git and modern project/issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure Boards).
  • Ways of Working: Able to work independently, prioritize effectively, and deliver under time and workload pressure in a multinational, cross-region setup.
  • Communication: Advanced English (spoken and written); clear, concise, and audience-appropriate communication.
  • Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
    • Experience with cloud platforms (OpenShift/Azure) and infrastructure as code.
    • Knowledge of API gateways, event streaming (e.g., Kafka), and message queues.
    • Familiarity with data/ML tooling (e.g., vector databases, feature stores, model monitoring).
    • Secure prompt patterns (input/output filtering, PII redaction, abuse/toxicity checks) and AI safety/ethics awareness.
    • Performance tuning, caching strategies, and cost/reliability optimization.

An array of benefits for you:

  • Hybrid work arrangements to balance in-office collaboration and home flexibility.
  • Outpatient (unlimited) and inpatient medical coverage for employees.
  • Personalized flexi benefit plan for you and your family.
  • Choose any day off from earned public holidays, including Saturdays and ad-hoc holidays to spend with your loved ones.
  • Modern offices with free parking space.

Great Team

Hi, my name is Chong Jin Chun and I’m a team manager. I started my career at DHL IT Services back in 2007, when I took a role as Senior Software Engineer in the Customer Service team. Gaining more hands-on experience with Solution Architecture has always fascinated me, so from there, I moved fast through the company ladder and soon landed a Principal Architect role. In 2019, I moved to a management role, being Team Manager. Together with the strong support of a multinational & diverse team, we are working on our common ambition – technology. Looking forward to having you onboard!
