Job Purpose:
Responsible for the strategy and improvement of processes and projects in FM/LSHC for leased properties, ensuring that processes and projects are executed in a world-class manner by the FM team and in accordance with the various legal regulations and standards of the sector (specifically in the pharma sector), contractors, as well as property owners and their suppliers. This role is a critical partner throughout the organization, thinking strategically and acting decisively while inspiring the team to achieve optimal results and continuous improvements in business processes.

Your tasks:
  • Manage the resources of the maintenance department to maintain pharmaceutical warehouse equipment, systems, and facilities in accordance with good manufacturing, documentation and maintenance practices and regulations.
  • Attend COFEPRIS audits, internal audits as well as customer audits.
  • Lead the team that will be in charge of documenting in a timely manner the investigations of the CAPAS, root cause analysis.
  • Participate and develop the projects of all the refrigeration systems, as well as their technical data to have a reliable data matrix.
  • Oversee all facility management (FM) activities across multiple cities/states. Ensure efficient day-to-day operations and regular maintenance programs.
  • Prepare & conduct Performance Dialogues with Facility Management Teams and other key stakeholders involved in the FM value chain.
  • Foster strong relationships with business leaders across DHL Group and partner organizations.
  • Handle all aspects, including database maintenance, payment, and financial performance. Ensure compliance with internal policies and data integrity.
  • Manage contractors, third parties, and staff performance through KPIs and SLAs. Ensure team delivers efficient, high-quality service.
  • Ensure legal and operational compliance. Oversee training, development, performance reviews, and staffing decisions.
  • Lead strategic planning for the Facilities team. Set strategy for service provider contracts to ensure budget accuracy and cost savings.
  • Monitor operational statistics, report trends and issues, and take appropriate action.
  • Provide regular reports on facility operations, expenses, and projects to management.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, including maintaining data integrity for the Real Estate portfolio.
  • Identify and implement savings initiatives.
  • Complete or coordinate routine inspections to determine required services.
  • Extensive contact and negotiating with other departments and 3rd parties with conflicting objectives 
  • Champion cooperation and partnership to provide integrated solutions to problems e.g. external service providers 
  • Build strong, trusting cross-functional relationships with DHL managers 
  • Influence and challenge key stakeholders effectively 
  • Support and interact primarily with colleagues of own function
  • Build relationships and understand customer and key stakeholders interests and concerns
  • Address task-related issues appropriately to maintain work relationships
Your profile:
Education Level
  • Bachelor’s Degree or advanced degree in Mechanic Administrative Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Management, Engineering or Architecture preferred.
  • Desirable Facilities Management Certification
Experience Level
  • More than 8 years in Facility management.
  • Experience managing direct reports.
  • Expert knowledge of cold chambers, logistics facilities, construction processes and equipment including HVAC, elevators, lighting systems, roofing systems and general building structures
