DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS:

About the role: As Mobile Developer III (Multiple Openings) for Total Quality Logistics, LLC, you will work alongside Agile Scrum teams to develop new applications, and maintain, modify and improve existing solutions.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Be a key technical contributor to the TQL Development Team, which is working towards building the future of logistics and transportation technology.
  • Work with the Product Management teams to understand the needs of end users’ and external customers to influence and plan system design and creation of engineering and development tasks.
  • Support and manage android applications developed in-house and outsourced.
  • Develop and maintain backend services to support TQL mobile applications.
  • Test and maintain various native android applications to identify processes and development efficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Document new applications or changes made to existing applications.
  • Frequently communicate with internal customers, end users and managers on project progress, deployment and issue resolution.
  • Support systems to provide continuous integration and automated testing processes.
  • Actively engage in conversations and meetings with prospects and customers as needed.


What you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7 years of experience in Android Studio, specifically in developing and debugging Android apps.
  • 7 years of experience in Kotlin and Java, specifically in using Kotlin for modern app development and Java for legacy systems.
  • 6 years of experience in Azure DevOps, specifically in CI/CD pipelines and project migration.
  • 6 years of experience in Dependency Injection, specifically in Dagger 2 and Hilt.
  • 6 years of experience in Agile & Scrum Methodologies, specifically involving active participation and experience in sprints, daily stand-ups, and iterative development.
  • 6 years of experience in Version Control, specifically in GitHub for code collaboration and repository management.
  • 6 years of experience in Testing Frameworks, specifically with hands-on experience with JUnit, Mockito, Espresso, and achieving 85%+ code coverage.
  • 6 years of experience in Multi-Module and Clean Architecture, specifically in effective modularization for scalable and maintainable codebases.
  • 6 years of experience in Encryption/Decryption, specifically in implementing robust security measures for sensitive data.
  • 6 years of experience in REST APIs, specifically in integrating APIs for seamless data communication.
  • 5 years of experience in Firebase Services, specifically in implementing Crashlytics, Analytics, Remote Config, and cloud messaging.
  • 5 years of experience in UI/UX Design, specifically in advanced and interactive UI implementation using Jetpack Compose, DataBinding, and MVVM architecture.
  • 5 years of experience in Google APIs, specifically in Maps and Fused Location for enhanced app functionalities.
  • 5 years of experience in Image Loading Libraries, specifically in Glide and Picasso for high-performance image rendering.


What’s in it for you: $130,541 - $138,200 base salary


Where you'll be: Cincinnati, Ohio. Hybrid work schedule involving onsite work at our location in Cincinnati, OH & telecommuting may be permitted.
