Do you thrive in a collaborative environment where your expertise directly impacts provider success, compliance, and patient care? If so, we'd love for you to join our expanding team! The Provider Education team at OHSU is growing and we're on the lookout for a dynamic, detail-oriented, and forward-thinking Provider Educator to help us lead the way.Â

What You'll Do As a Provider Educator, you'll be part of a mission-driven team working at the intersection of clinical operations, compliance, and revenue cycle. You'll empower providers and staff through targeted education, cutting-edge resources, and smart, strategic audits. Every day, you'll play a key role in driving compliance, optimizing reimbursement, and reducing burnout through documentation and coding clarity. This role is not just training; it's advocacy, innovation, mentorship, and impact. You will: *Lead onboarding education for new providers, setting them up for success. *Deliver timely updates on critical coding, billing, and regulatory changes. *Conduct proactive and risk-based audits and reviews to enhance compliance. *Translate complex information into clear, accessible guidance and presentations. *Collaborate across departments to solve real-world challenges and drive meaningful improvements. *Analyze data trends to identify opportunities for targeted education and systemic improvements. *Advocate for policy changes with CMS and other stakeholders that support provider needs and patient access. *Help build a smarter, more consistent educational infrastructure at OHSU.Â
Â
Why You'll Love It Here *We're Growing: You'll help shape the future of a team that's expanding to meet the needs of a changing healthcare landscape. *Your Voice Matters: You'll contribute to high-impact decisions, comment on federal rulemaking, and work on system-wide strategic initiatives. *Data-Driven Culture: We don't just educate; we measure impact. You'll have the tools and support to use data to guide and improve our work. *Cross-Functional Collaboration: You'll partner with clinicians, coders, compliance, RevCycle, IT, and even legislators. *Innovation-Driven: From denial prevention to automation and underutilized services, we're leading transformative projects that matter. *Team Culture: We believe in supporting each other, mentoring new team members, and celebrating wins; big and small.Â
Â
You Might Be a Great Fit If You: *Have a strong background in coding, billing, and documentation requirements. *Have solid Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, vlookup, if/then formulas, etc.) and enjoy working with data to find patterns and insights. *Are comfortable presenting to clinical and non-clinical audiences in both small and large groups. *Skillful at simplifying complex regulatory language. *Have a hunger for learning and are energized by new challenges. *Enjoy digging into audits and data to uncover actionable insights. *Are a natural collaborator who enjoys problem-solving with others. *Are passionate about healthcare access, compliance, and sustainability.
