Responsibilities

This is a remote position and can be located anywhere in the United States.

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Security Architect to join Enlyte's cybersecurity team. This role will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-wide security architectures that protect our infrastructure, applications, and data. The ideal candidate will drive security initiatives across cloud and on-premises environments, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure alignment with industry best practices and compliance requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and evolution of Enlyte's enterprise security architecture to address emerging threats and compliance requirements.
  • Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and reference architectures for cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises environments.
  • Technical experience in designing secure AWS and other public clouds environments and applications including, but not limited to, CSPM, network segmentation, IAM, security monitoring and Threat Prevention and Detection technologies.
  • Providing internal security consulting and design review services for Enlyte product applications, and IT shared services in AWS and other public clouds.
  • Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and gap analysis to improve the company's overall security posture.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, engineering teams, and infrastructure groups to integrate security into technology solutions and roadmaps.
  • Provide security architecture expertise for enterprise projects and initiatives.
  • Evaluate emerging security technologies and make recommendations for adoption.
  • Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure with focus on configuration, threat protection, network security, data protection, and identity management.
  • Mentor junior security team members and promote security best practices across the organization.
  • Partner with GRC, SOC, and DevSecOps teams to enforce security controls and automation with a focused shift to preventative control architectures.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field  is desirable but can be replaced by equivalent training and experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles, with at least 5+ years as a security architect in enterprise environments.
  • Strong experience with cloud security architectures in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Deep understanding of network security, identity & access management (IAM), data protection, and encryption technologies.
  • Expertise in designing zero trust architectures and implementing security controls across hybrid environments.
  • Experience with security tools such as Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, SIEM, Cloud Native Security, WAF, and similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and standards including NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, and MITRE ATT&CK.
  • Ability to create technical security policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills with ability to translate complex security concepts to various audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in regulated environments (healthcare, financial services).
  • Knowledge of containerization, microservices architecture, and API security.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines and their security by design.
  • Experience with secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevSecOps principles.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security Specialty, or TOGAF.
