Job Title: Corporate Accountat

Your Role:
The Corporate Accountant is a key contributor to the Corporate accounting department and the overall Corporate finance team. This role integral to the Corporate month-end close process preparing reconciliations, analyzing account activity, recording monthly journal entries, and various monthly reporting. The Corporate Accountant is responsible for maintaining the fixed asset system utilized by US businesses and several international businesses. The Corporate Accountant will also assist with maintaining the lease accounting software for all global businesses in accordance with ASC 842.
The Corporate Accountant works closely with other Corporate departments through everyday responsibilities and through involvement in cross functional initiatives therefore a successful candidate will be self-motivated, hands-on, detail oriented and have strong problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills.
What You'll Be Doing:
· Responsible for preparing and recording journal entries and reconciling general ledger accounts for Corporate ledger and several non-operating legal entities
· Communicate monthly Corporate intercompany statements/allocations and work directly with the businesses
to ensure accurate reporting and timely settlement of Corporate allocations
· Finance partner to HR in support of US payroll. Record US payroll entries including the calculation of monthly accruals
· Responsible for monitoring Corporate cash and recording of cash and debt related entries
· Maintain the fixed asset system utilized by US and foreign businesses and communicate monthly reporting.
· Perform various financial analysis and tracking of Corporate costs, benefits, outside services, etc.
· Assist with maintaining the lease accounting software and generating monthly lease journal entries and reporting
· Support the preparation of the annual Corporate financial plan working closely with Corporate departments
· Assist in the annual determination of Corporate allocations and periodic updates
· Support the annual audit including preparation of financial statements and fulfilling audits requests
· Maintain and update Corporate processes and internal control documentation
· Assist with Company audit and compliance activities as requested
· Performs other duties as assigned

What You Need to Succeed:
Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA preferred.
Experience: 1-3 years' experience in public accounting, or similar experience.
· Ability to analyze, communicate and present information accurately and clearly. Strong written and oral communication skills.
· Self-motivated and proactive, both with respect to problem solving, managing workload, and own professional development—strong work ethic.
· Excellent organizational skills. Prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently, sets goals and objectives.
· Able to adjust to changing priorities – ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
· Attention to detail and continuous improvement approach towards recurring and new tasks. Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Above average technical accounting skills. Knowledge of US GAAP.
· Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications. Experience with Oracle ERP and Hyperion HFM is a plus.
