As the Senior Documentation Specialist, this individual will create, organize, and maintain organizational documents to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with policies and regulations. In this role, Senior Documentation Specialist will prep and/or maintain systems. Additionally, this individual may act as project leader for large jobs.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains current internal documentation library
  • Implements document control systems, reviewing documents for quality, ensuring easy retrieval of information, and collaborating with various departments
  • Develops, writes, and formats various documents, such as technical manuals, financial reports, or legal documents, ensuring clarity and conciseness
  • Establishes systems for cataloging, storing, and retrieving documents, both physical and digital, to ensure easy access and security
  • Reviews documents for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Implements and maintains document management systems and related procedures for capturing, storing, and sharing electronic records
  • Works with various departments and team members to streamline document workflows and collect necessary information for document creation
  • Stays updated on relevant regulations and implement changes to documentation processes to ensure compliance
  • Participates in internal audits and external inspections related to documentation, and compile reports on documentation processes

Required Qualifications/Education and Experience:

  • Must have and maintain Secret Clearance with eligibility for Top-secret
  • High School Diploma or higher
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat and Specialized document management systems.
  • Possession of excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience building and maintaining Content Management Platforms.
  • Experience with creating and formulating workflows.
  • Provides or coordinates special documentation services
