Job Overview
The Senior Data Engineer, Managed Care, will own the architectural vision for the data platform. This position will be responsible for designing scalable, resilient, and secure data systems built on the Microsoft SQL Server stack and automated with Python. This position will not only be a hands-on expert in performance tuning and pipeline development but also a mentor and thought leader who elevates the technical capabilities of the entire team.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar with 5 years of experience in data engineering or similar role, with a proven track record of building and managing complex data systems; instead of a degree, 8 years of relevant experience.
3-5 years of hands-on experience with T-SQL coding and ETL development is a must.
Strong experience with a scripting language, preferably Python, and its data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) is required.
Demonstrated experience building and managing ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration workflows required.
Experience in designing and building robust data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and integration is required.
Prior experience working in the healthcare industry with a strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and data security best practices is preferred.
Microsoft-certified database credentials (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate or similar certifications) are preferred.
Experience in utilizing SentryOne to monitor is preferred.
Experience using EZ-CAP software.
Compensation
$112,602.88 - $140,753.60 annuallyCompensation Disclaimer

The range is subject to change.
