Are you passionate about making dental care accessible to underserved communities? As a Dental Assistant on our Mobile Dental Unit, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care directly to patients in schools and community settings across the Yakima Valley.
Our Mobile Dental Units provide preventive services such as fluoride treatments and dental sealants to children, helping reduce tooth decay and improve overall oral health. This program is designed to supplement regular dental care and introduce children to positive dental experiences in a relaxed, familiar environment.

What We Offer:
$22.93-$28.09/hour DOE with ability to go higher for highly experienced candidates

What You’ll Do:
Operate and maintain the Mobile Dental Unit, including cleaning, sterilization, equipment safety, and driving to outreach locations
Support patient care by preparing instruments, assisting with exams, documenting in EMR, and promoting patient comfort and privacy
Provide administrative support such as registration, scheduling, encounter forms, and reconciling the cash box
Educate patients on oral hygiene and assist with screenings, fluoride treatments, sealants, and other dental procedures
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, equipment security, and regulatory standards (TJC, HRSA, YVFWC)
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Completion of a Dental Assisting program
1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant
Dental Assistant Registration (must be completed within 7 days of hire unless specifically approved by the Clinic Administrator)
BLS certification within 90 days of hire
Other Requirements:
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required at a level 10
Valid Driver’s License and proof of automobile liability insurance coverage is required at time of hire
Class A or B Washington State Commercial Driver’s License is required within 90 days of hire
