Lending Call Center Sales Specialist - Military veterans preferred

Liberty FCU, a full-service credit union, is currently seeking a Lending Call Center Sales Specialist to perform loan requests for members over the phone in our direct lending department located at 4405 Theater Drive in Evansville, IN. Candidates must possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Previous consumer lending and underwriting experience is preferred. Candidates will be scheduled for approximately 40 hours a week and must be available to work Saturdays on a rotating basis. If interested, please proceed by clicking Apply. 

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: 

• Provide exceptional phone service to members.  
• Process consumer loan requests by initiating the loan interview process and completing loan applications.  
  • Pull credit reports, calculate ratios, and adhere to credit union lending policies and procedures. 
  • Provide NADA vehicle information and Carfax reports to loan applicants. 
  • Make loan decisions within lending authority. 
  • Book and disburse loans. 
  • Develop a professional sales approach for selling loan protection products. 
  • Prepare loan documents for closings. 
• Strive to meet monthly sales and departmental goals. 
• Process and underwrite LFCU credit card requests and forward proper documentation for card ordering. 
• Assist with processing loan applications received through the Internet and smart phone lending channels. 
• Provide assistance to members enrolling in the Online Banking system for loan payments. 
• Develop a working knowledge of the LFCU lending system.
