Faculty Professor - Part-Time - Military veterans preferred

The Department of Biomedical Informatics is requesting the creation of an Appointment Stream Temporary Part-Time faculty member at the rank of Professor. This position is requested to provide continuation and closeout of NIH 5R01HL164835-03 (Individualized Prediction of Treatment Effects Using Data from Both Embedded Clinical Trials and Electronic Health Records). The faculty member will complete the balance of the work on the project. Work includes goals/tasks in Aim 2: Complete writing and submission of a manuscript of Case Study #1; complete Case Study #2, analyze the results, and publish results. The position is requested from September 1, 2025, through July 31, 2026.

For a Professor position, the qualifications are as follows: 10+ years of experience. Must possess a doctoral degree or an appropriate professional degree. A Professor should have authoritative knowledge and a reputation in a recognized field of learning, and the achievement of effective teaching skills. They should have attained superior stature in their field through research, scholarship, and professional leadership.
