The Department of Medicine - Division of General Internal Medicine is seeking an accomplished and passionate Clinician Educator for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Professor with Tenure. This role is ideal for a physician who is dedicated to advancing internal medicine through exceptional patient care, innovative teaching, and scholarly contributions to medical education.

Key responsibilities include: • Delivering high-quality clinical care in general internal medicine. • Teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and /or fellows in inpatient and outpatient settings. • Lead or contribute to curriculum development, educational innovation, and faculty development initiatives. • Engage in scholarly activity related to medical education, clinical research, or health systems improvement. • Participate in departmental leadership, service, and strategic planning.

Required Qualifications: • MD or DO degree with board certification in Internal Medicine. • Eligibility for medical licensure in Pennsylvania. • Demonstrated excellence in clinical practice and medical education. • A strong portfolio of scholarly work and academic leadership. • Experience mentoring learners and junior faculty. • Commitment to inclusive pedagogy.

Applicants for Professor with tenure will have served five to seven years as Associate Professor. The rank of professor recognizes the attainment of authoritative knowledge and reputation in a recognized field of learning and the achievement of effective teaching skills. The professor should have attained superior stature in their field through scholarship, professional practice, and leadership in professional and learned organizations.
