Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Warehouse Logistician II in National City, CA.

Summary: Performs warehouse duties in support of daily warehouse operations. Processing, packaging, shipping, and physical pick-up and delivery of materials. Organizational planning, time management, inventory control, equipment maintenance, teamwork, documentation, and data entry.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepares DD-1149s and other shipping documents for CONUS and OCONUS shipments, including those involving hazardous materials.

  • Receives and unpacks materials and supplies, verifies them against receiving documents, and promptly reports any discrepancies or visible damages to the Foreman.

  • Routes all materials received to prescribed storage locations.

  • Completes all shipping and receiving reports assigned.

  • Operates a hand or power truck in the performance of the warehouse duties.

  • May perform other related duties in support of the warehouse

  • Transports liquid or packaged materials, as well as personnel, between designated locations, including offices, military installations, and industrial yards.

  • Generates accurate receipts for all picked-up shipments.

  • Efficiently loads and unloads trucks based on operational needs.

  • Inspects truck equipment and supplies, such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.

  • Performs emergency roadside repairs, such as changing tires as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED.

  • 2 years’ driving experience.

  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Clean driving record and be insurable to operate company vehicles

  • Must be able to read, speak, write, understand, and communicate in English.

  • Must have a good understanding of the metropolitan area and be able to navigate using GPS, maps, and directions.

  • Must have general knowledge of basic warehousing procedures and proper work safety standards (must comply with Safety, Health, and Environmental policies).

  • Must be professional in conduct and demeanor.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain access to US military and government installations and private area shipyards.

Preferred Requirements:

  • License to drive a forklift.

  • Current and valid state driver’s license with passenger endorsement

Pay Range

The pay range for this is $20.60 to $30.00 per hour.  This is a reasonable estimate for this role. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors, including, but not limited to business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience.

ADA Notations: Involves heavy lifting, frequent stooping or bending, and possible working assignments in overhead structures, confined spaces, or beneath machinery. Work conditions vary from indoors to outdoors, from very hot to very cold.

  • Requires walking, reaching, sitting, and concentration in the presence of occasional and loud noises.

  • Able to move in narrow and restricted passageways, up/down steep and narrow ladders or stairways, and up and down antenna masts/yardarms (onboard ships).

  • Able to lift, carry, and move objects up to 50 lbs. in weight.

  • Must have manual and finger dexterity; able to grasp, manipulate, and assemble small objects.

  • Able to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.

  • Able to perceive and distinguish the normal range of colors.

  • May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including but not limited to hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, earplugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, gloves, and steel-toe boots.

  • Industrial environment.
