Overview

We are seeking a Manager of Market Analysis and Competitive Insights to lead a small team to conduct in-depth market analysis, including Total Addressable Market (TAM) sizing, and gather competitive intelligence to inform our business strategy. Responsible include overseeing and mentoring the team as well as actively contributing to the work, digging into the data to uncover key insights to present compelling findings and recommendations to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute comprehensive market analysis projects, including TAM sizing and segmentation.
  • Conduct ongoing competitive intelligence research, tracking competitor activities, product announcements, and strategic shifts.
  • Develop and refine business strategies and recommendations based on data-driven insights.
  • Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
  • Manage a small team, providing guidance, mentorship, and project oversight, while also actively participating in the day-to-day work.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and marketing, to ensure alignment on market insights and strategy.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.




Qualifications



  • A Bachelors' Degree (Advanced degree a plus)
  • 5 plus years of previous market research experience or in a related industry
  • Proven experience in market analysis, competitive intelligence, and related business strategy role.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform TAM sizing and other quantitative market analysis techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a track record of presenting to executive leadership.
  • Experience in a leadership or management role, with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
  • Highly organized and adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid writing skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience in using AI/GenAI preferred
  • Strong documentation skills along with verbal and written communication skills

Salary range and additional compensation, including discretionary bonuses and incentive pay, are determined by a rigorous review process. This process considers the experience, education, certifications, and skills required for the specific role, equity with similarly situated employees, as well as employer-verified US region-specific market data provided by an independent 3rd party partner. The expected total annual compensation, depending on location and experience, is between $140-150,000 USD and is inclusive of base salary and variable compensation.
