Overview:

The Network Engineer II serves as the Senior Network Engineer Level I for the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) Academic Network Labor Contract to administer, maintain, secure, and accredit the DLIFLC Academic Network which provides the IT environment for 100% of the DLIFLC teaching and instructing for all students, staff, faculty, and guests in a learning environment at the unclassified level.



Responsibilities:
  • · Responsibilities include monitoring, testing, and analyzing all elements of the network facilities.
  • · The duties include planning, installation, maintenance during or after work hours, troubleshooting, and network management.


Qualifications:

Required:

  • · BA/BS from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 5+ years experience, or substitute with AA/AS with 7+ years experience.
  • · Require any one of the following IAT Level II (CySA+, Security+, CND, or SSCP) Certification and CE/OS Certification.
  • · Experience requirements include 3 years of progressive experience in computer system/network engineering, including 2 years of specialized experience related to the tasks.
  • · CCNA or equivalent certification requirements. 3 years of documented experience, in addition to previously stated experience requirements, can be used as equivalent for certification.
  • · Experience or knowledge of Palo Alto Networks Firewalls.
  • · Experience or knowledge with wireless network deployment, implementation, configuration, and management.
  • · Experience or knowledge of managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a network access control system.
  • · Relevant experience with Palo Alto Networks, Extreme Networks, HPE Aruba Wireless Networking, or similar (ie, Extreme Networks or Cisco), ClearPass or similar network access control system (ie, Cisco ISE).
  • · Secret Clearance

Salary Range: $125,000 - $135,000

The above salary range represents a general guideline. Integral Federal considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and/or discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay.
