Position Summary:

The Vice President of Human Resources leads the HR function and drives strategic people initiatives across the organization. This is a key executive leadership role, responsible for aligning our human capital strategy with overall business objectives, supporting a workforce of over 500 employees.

As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will provide expert guidance in all areas of Human Resources, including talent management, organizational development, succession planning, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and HR compliance. You’ll directly lead a high-performing HR team and collaborate cross-functionally to shape a culture of innovation, accountability, and growth.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required;
    • Master’s degree or MBA strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior or executive leadership role (CHRO experience preferred).
  • Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred.
  • Proven track record of leading strategic HR initiatives in a mid-sized large organization.
  • Deep knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to influence across all levels of the organization, including the Board of Directors and shareholders.
  • Must be available to work on-site at the branch office location, Monday through Friday (5 days per week).


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of HR strategies that align with the company’s mission and business objectives.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to executive and senior leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
  • Oversee succession planning and leadership development initiatives to build a strong internal talent pipeline.
  • Design and manage compensation and benefits programs that are competitive, cost-effective, and legally compliant.
  • Guide talent acquisition and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Drive change management initiatives to support organizational transformation and cultural alignment.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Provide mentorship and direction to the HR team to ensure operational excellence and professional growth.
