1. Overall Job Purpose

·        Oversee inbound and outbound cargo handling in the warehouse.

·        Ensure that all suppliers and other parties adhere to Warehouse/Value Added Services (VAS) agreements in accordance with customers’ Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and the company’s operational standards.

·        Manage inventory, pallet positions, and ensure proper storage conditions.

·        Supervise loading/unloading, stuffing/de-stuffing of containers, and cargo consolidation.

·        Generate and issue all necessary reports and data related to Warehouse/VAS to meet or exceed customer expectations in a timely and professional manner.

·        Ensure compliance with safety, security, and warehouse SOPs. Conduct regular internal audits and hazard analyses (for new, existing, and changed processes) in collaboration with the Safety Committee and customers to ensure alignment at the workplace/warehouse.

·        Coordinate with trucking providers and carriers for on-time container movement.

·        Provide regular updates on warehouse utilization, report and shipment status.

·        Address customer inquiries and complaints professionally and with a positive attitude.

·        Facilitate efficient communication and information flow among all parties involved, including suppliers, factories, and internal departments.

·        Monitor operational and general business KPIs/SLAs to ensure they are met in terms of both performance and cost.

·        Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external suppliers/customers through regular communication with key and senior management.

·        Ensure that employees, suppliers, and visitors comply with our corporate standards for safety and security in warehouse operations, following all regulations, instructions, and safety compliance protocols.

·        Perform other assignments as required by the Line Manager.


2. Key Accountabilities


·     To ensure all assignments are met within the specific deliverables concerned.

·       To ensure proper follow-up with all outstanding issues

·       Lead, monitor & follow up daily inbound & outbound operations.

·       Prepare incident reports if damages or discrepancies are found during daily operation.

·      Visually check on cargo i.e. dented cartons, wet cartons, torn cartons, short ship/ over ship & etc. Tally in and ensure accuracy.

·       Verify documents., update the system accurately and timely.

·       Ensure the work instructions, requirements and SOP are adhered to strictly.

·       Notify the superior if there’s a problem executing efficiently.

·       Assist in physical housekeeping during the cycle count process.

·       ensure the cleanliness of the surrounding work area.

·       Adhere to the Safety Regulations of Operating Material Handling Equipment rules & regulations set by the management.

·       Manage data entry for each shipment. 


3. Requirement

·       Bachelor’s degree

·       Knowledge of warehouse and logistics practices, along with end-to-end supply chain experience

·       Preferably at least 1 year of experience in logistics or forwarding

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel

·       Fluent in both written and spoken English

·       Knowledge of Macro and VBA is a plus
