The Supply Technician is responsible for performing technical supply management work involving inventory control, storage, cataloging, and property utilization. The position requires knowledge of supply systems, organizational needs, and ensure efficient accountability of materials, equipment, and property.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform supply management functions including inventory management, storage, cataloging, and property utilization.
  • Receive, store, issue, and maintain accountability of supplies, equipment, and property in compliance with established regulations.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts, reconciliations, and audits to maintain accurate accountability.
  • Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation to support audits, inspections, and program requirements.
  • Identify surplus, obsolete, or excess property and coordinate reutilization, redistribution, or disposal actions.
  • Ensure compliance with governing supply systems, programs, policies, manuals, and established guidelines.
  • Provide analytical support to define problems, collect and interpret data, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with supervisors, program managers, and supported organizations to align supply and inventory functions with mission needs.


Qualifications

  • Strong working knowledge of supply systems, programs, policies, and established guidelines.
  • Experience with inventory control processes, property accountability, and warehouse operations.
  • Analytical ability to identify and resolve supply or inventory discrepancies.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and recordkeeping skills.
  • Proficiency with automated supply or inventory management systems preferred.
