Crane Currency has an opportunity for a college student to gain hands-on experience in our Research and Development department. This role is onsite starting in January 2026 and will be based out of Nashua, New Hampshire.

How you will make an impact:

Our program is designed to give you the chance to make a true impact to our business. You will work on research and development projects by:

• Participating in trials, including prep, and post-trial follow up.

• Testing, data analysis, and report generation.

• Supporting various projects including continuous improvement initiatives.

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

• Enrolled at an accredited institution, pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Engineering or Chemical Engineering.

• Able to work around chemicals and equipment safely following company & lab protocols.

• Excellent oral & written communication skills

• Ability to record data & observations and transfer into a report format

• Eagerness to learn

• Skilled in using MS Office products, or similar

• You must be a U.S. citizen with an ability to demonstrate and maintain suitability for employment in a position of Public Trust consistent with our US Government contract requirements.

Preferred:

• University or industrial experience in a chemical or quality laboratory; or Process technician support role is highly desired.

• Candidate has completed at least one full year of college or university studies; higher preference to rising Juniors or Seniors

• Highly experienced (academic or work environment) in Statistical analysis, process engineering, and/or chemical engineering.
