Zero Trust & Compliance Automation Lead

Core4ce is seeking a Zero Trust & Compliance Automation Lead to design and lead Zero Trust enforcement with continuous user validation and to implement an automated Authority to Operate (ATO) evidence engine integrated with the DevSecOps pipeline. The role focuses on policy, detections, control efficacy, and compliance automation that shortens secure fielding timelines for AFLCMC (U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center) stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Architect Zero Trust controls that enforce continuous validation beyond login, aligned to mission risk.
  • Implement and tune user behavior analytics to detect insider threats and anomalous activity.
  • Define risk-based policies, detections, and response workflows; publish runbooks and acceptance criteria.
  • Lead design of an ATO evidence engine that models' adjudication logic and produces auditable artifacts.
  • Ingest pipeline signals (build, test, deploy) to automate compliance evidence and judgment-based scoring.
  • Partner with platform and cybersecurity teams to integrate gates into Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery and change management.
  • Establish metrics for control performance, alert quality, and compliance cycle time, report outcomes to leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience with Zero Trust architecture and identity-centric enforcement.
  • Hands-on experience with user behavior analytics or risk-adaptive access controls.
  • Experience automating compliance or ATO evidence or integrating security controls into Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
  • Strong technical writing skills for policies, playbooks, and audit-ready documentation.
  • Ability to work onsite with government and contractor stakeholders in SATX.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Department of Defense ATO processes and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with Security Information and Event Management, user behavior analytics, identity providers/Identity Governance and Administration, Policy Decision Points, and pipeline orchestration tools.
  • Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified Cloud Security Professional, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent vendor credentials.
  • Prior support to AFLCMC or United States Air Force programs.
