Function of Position:

Monroe Community College is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to temporarily support the Health Professions Department. This part-time role will assist with essential administrative tasks and provide support to faculty, staff, and students.

*This is a temporary position that may be renewed annually contingent upon availability of college budget and performance reviews.

Examples of Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support to the Department Chair and faculty
  • Assist with scheduling meetings and maintaining departmental files
  • Support student registration and documentation processes
  • Coordinate basic supply orders and requisitions
  • Help with communication between the department and other college offices
  • Assist with onboarding documentation for new hires
  • Provide clerical support for faculty
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Experience in an academic or office setting
  • Bilingual and able to read, write, and speak Spanish, or other languages, proficiently


Additional Information:

Hours/Pay: 20 hours per week, $22 hourly
