PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Independently lead installations, calibrations, or testing of complex instrumentation systems
Perform high-level diagnostics and root cause analysis of control and automation issues.
Ensure installations adhere to electrical codes, engineering specs, and QA/QC standards.
Perform onsite control panel investigations and modifications.
Troubleshoot and maintain controls for pumps, valves, and motors.
SKILLS REQUIRED
Advanced knowledge of industrial automation systems, control wiring, and instrumentation.
Proven experience with VFDs and motor starters.
Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills.
Ability to perform installations that meet National Electrical Code requirements.
Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor and support junior staff effectively.
Safely troubleshoot and modify 480 VAC control panels (starters, relays, timers, etc.)
Ability to read and completely understand control/PLC panel drawings.
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of field experience in EI&C roles.
Proven experience with water/wastewater treatment systems.
Familiarity with control panels, SCADA systems, and PLC interfaces.
Technical certification or associate degree in instrumentation, automation, or a related field.
Experience troubleshooting and maintaining pumps, motors, and valves
