Responsibilities

1st Shift - 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday with 30-minute unpaid lunch and two breaks.

Starting Pay $18.50 - $21.00/hour

Now hiring a Cares Technician for our Springfield, Virginia service center to perform sewing and non-sewing operations as we service our high quality turnout gear. 

 

In this role you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Inspection, review, and evaluation of turnout gear.
  • Prepare, repair, and conduct alterations of turnout gear.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Able to speak, read, and write in English. 
  • Basic knowledge of computers or tablets.
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Must be willing to work 6:00 - 2:30, Monday - Friday.
  • Hep B shot series will be required and provided by Globe
  • NFPA 1851 training will be required and provided by Globe.

Preferred:

  • Previous stitching/sewing experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in Quality Control and Inspection desired.
  • Knowledge of Globe products preferred.
  • Bilingual and able to speak English and Spanish.

Additional Consideration:

  • Consideration based upon experience for Level I and Level II role.
