Moving and lifting object from floor to above shoulders up to 25 pounds. Standing and sitting at computer terminals and laboratory bench completing repetitive tasks for extensive periods of time. Continuous working with materials requiring personal protection

Primarily Days Monday – Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, some evenings and weekends are possible due to experimentation.
Job Summary
Laboratory staff position to assist with daily experiments involving mouse studies, genetic sequencing, protein assays, and mouse echocardiography. Employee will be expected to be detail-oriented, dependable, and on time. Daily tasks will include accurate record taking in a daily notebook, establishing a clean and organized laboratory environment, and maintenance of lab equipment. Weekends and holidays may be required occasionally to ensure that long-term experiments that require daily intervention are not interrupted.


Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Proficiency in mouse handling, protein assays, genotyping, statistical analysis. Proficiency in English, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel.
