ERP Implementation Specialist (Deltek Costpoint)

Job Title: ERP Implementation Specialist (Deltek Costpoint)
Location: Tampa
Department: Information Technology
The ERP Implementation Specialist brings together Deltek Costpoint functional experience and information technology expertise to help REPKON USA optimize their Costpoint software for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
Costpoint is crucial for managing daily business operations and facilitating information flow across different business functions such as HR, procurement, manufacturing, service delivery, and finance.
Responsibilities:
  • Administer user access, as needed
  • The ability to interact effectively with different levels of management
  • The capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Work with the company's business units to identify business process needs and develop customized Costpoint solutions to meet those needs
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance on software application-related issues via the Costpoint Help Desk
  • Train staff to use Costpoint effectively, as needed
  • Document Costpoint processes, user manuals, and other related information, as needed
  • Ensure Costpoint software complies with industry regulations and standards
  • Write test plans and test cases and test new Costpoint releases as delivered from Deltek prior to moving to Production
  • Communicate new release functions of Costpoint to user base
  • Collaborate with other IT specialists to integrate Costpoint with other business applications, as needed
  • Capture user feedback and provide recommendations to Deltek for system improvements and enhancements
  • Ensure the Costpoint software runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible
Required Qualifications
  • Deep understanding of Costpoint software both from an implementation standpoint and as a user of Costpoint
  • Technical proficiency in Costpoint software, with an understanding of its functions, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • 2-4 years of Costpoint experience (core modules (Accounting/Finance, Purchasing, Timesheets and Expense Reporting, etc.) plus familiarity with Manufacturing module
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Understanding of business operations and processes
  • Experience training users on Costpoint or other ERP system
  • Good project management and change management skills as this position often requires coordination across multiple departments and may necessitate significant process changes
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance, computer science, information technology, or a related field
  • Excellent communication skills as you will often work with various departments within the company and need to explain complex technical concepts in a way that non-technical staff can understand
  • Attention to detail, especially in data management, to ensure accuracy and integrity of information within Costpoint
  • Continual learning and development skills to keep up with emerging technologies and updates in Costpoint
  • Ability to create test plans, test new functionality, and communicate changes to end users
  • Experience with other ERPs - nice to have but not required
Other Requirements:
  • Travel:<15%, to support other REPKON USA locations, supplier visits, etc.
  • Work Environment: Home office, supplier sites, manufacturing locations.
  • Background Investigation/Drug Screen/US Person:Required.
