Job Purpose:

DHL is looking for a Transportation Procurement Analyst to join our EMEA Procurement Center of Excellence team.

In this role, you will support the EMEA Transportation procurement team in delivering a best-in-class sourcing approach across DHL business units. You will manage procurement events using digital e-sourcing tools, analyze supplier bids, and help maintain accurate supplier data in our Salesforce SRM system.

Reporting to the Head of Transport Sourcing for EMEA, you will act as a key interface between procurement and business teams, supporting supplier relationship management activities and contributing to process improvements in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

This role is open in Valencia, Spain and Warsaw, Poland. Applications close on 1st November.

Your tasks:

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues in Procurement and the Business Units setting up e-sourcing events and analyzing outcomes of these events and optimizing sourcing processes towards digital and automated solutions.
  • Data analysis, preparation and interpretation of complex data, comparative bid analysis.
  • Support colleagues within the EMEA team to translate customer sourcing strategies into effective e-sourcing solutions, participating in both internal/external customer meetings and supplier negotiations as required.
  • Maintaining tool Data quality and Supporting colleagues within the EMEA team to identify and resolve/escalate any technical issues on our supplier relationship management “SRM” e-tool.
  • Continuous review and monitoring of our supplier relationship management processes to identify improvements and efficiencies for the EMEA team.
  • Be an interactive and participative team member within the EMEA Transport Procurement community.
 

Your profile:

  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, logistics operations, or data analysis.
  • Fluent in English; other European languages are a plus.
  • Experience with e-sourcing tools (Jaggaer, Bravo, Salesforce) is desirable; knowledge of other sourcing platforms is also an asset.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly advanced Excel; experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI is a plus.
  • Comfortable managing complex projects under tight deadlines.
  • Process-oriented, but flexible and able to adapt in an agile, fast-changing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Experience in the transportation/logistics sector (road, air, ocean) is preferred but not essential.
  • Procurement experience with a focus on transportation and logistics services is desirable.
  • Degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration, statistics/data analysis, or engineering preferred but not essential.
  • Data analytics or procurement certifications (e.g., CAP, IABAC, CCA, CIPS) are a plus.
