ABOUT THE ROLE

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for the preparation and recording of financial transactions for North America. Maintains an effective internal control environment. Ensure all accounts are accurate and are produced in accordance with financial reporting standards and Group accounting policies. Position will utilize SAP S4/HANA accounting software, and other programs, customer and vendor portals.

Key Accountabilities include:

• Supporting month-end and year-end close activities
• Ensure journal entries are processed timely and accurately
• Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances
• Preparing financial statements, journal entries and account reconciliations
• Assessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas
• Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules
• Assist in the North America audits including Inclusion, Year-End, and interim audits by providing timely and accurate data and information

ABOUT YOU

  • 5-7 years of experience in an accountant position
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and detail
  • Ability to interact professionally with colleagues and management
  • Experience using SAP desirable

Position Location: This role can be hybrid, based out of Cary, NC (2 days a week in office).

GJC Level: I5 (for internal purposes only)

Salary: $56,000 - $80,000 dependent on skills and experience
