SUMMARY: The Manager of Pricing & Process Quality is responsible for ensuring high efficiency and accuracy in the pricing team. The position will be developing and managing end to end quality control process design to drive business performance. This role will also be responsible for proposing and evaluating the systems and processes. The Manager of Pricing & Process Quality will directly manage the Quality Analysts and will work closely with IT and Commercial managers/supervisors. This role will monitor both standard and ad hoc analyses on various pricing, and methodological topics to support pricing decision making. This role will also be supporting the annual general rate increase process. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: •Develop analytic tools around quality and co-lead the annual rate action process in conjunction with other members of the pricing management team •Manage SOPs and audit for accuracy; drive process improvement initiatives; conducts workshops and cross-functional meetings around process improvement and automation •Drive efficiency and quality improvements in billing and pricing systems •Commercial lead in billing and pricing systems •Identify additional automation options for pricing processes and reporting tools •Ensure all new rate uploads and rate changes are made timely and accurately •Lead internal audit initiatives within the pricing team •Analyze cost and rate change variances and business impact •Provide customer specific data analyses and ad-hoc reporting as needed •Monitor pricing KPIs and propose corrective actions •Perform other duties and special projects as assigned •Lead, train and manage Quality Analyst •Manage authorization access rights to billing and pricing systems EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: •Bachelor’s degree in finance, industrial engineering, or related degree required. •5 - 8 years of experience or master’s degree and 3 - 6 years of experience. •Six Sigma trained and certified is strongly preferred.
