Title: Director of Admissions

General Summary: Under the general supervision of the Assistant Dean of Admissions, the Director of Admissions will assist with general office management and day to day operations of the department. The Director will play an innovative role in the implementation and maintenance of key admissions and recruitment technologies as well as the planning and implementation of admissions and recruitment strategies. As a member of the Admissions team, the Director will assist in recruiting and advising new MCC students as well as actively contributing to the growth, development and activities of the department that promote a commitment to access and student success for our diverse student body.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Master's degree in Higher Education, Counseling, Marketing or other related field
Minimum of 4 years of full time or equivalent experience as Assistant Director of Admissions or the equivalent in a community college and/or a 4-year public institution
Experience using a SIS and/or CRM to track and outreach students through recruitment and application stages
Experience in developing and managing both small-scale and large-scale events for general and special populations
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within the institution and with outside partners such as high schools, community organizations, etc.
Excellent communication skills
A clear understanding of DEIB initiatives as relates to community college student populations
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using Salesforce/TargetX
Experience working with dual enrollment and homeschool populations
Salary Range: $80,000-$90,000 annual salary; actual salary commensurate with academic background and experience. Employees of Middlesex Community College are considered employees of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and receive benefits, which include:
Location: Lowell campus with travel to Bedford
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, schedule to be determined upon hire. This position will be eligible for a maximum of one day of telework in accordance with the College's telework policy.
