Pediatric Clinical Faculty Spring 2026
The University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing at Greensburg is seeking qualified applicants for part time clinical instructors with expertise in Pediatric nursing for the spring semester beginning January 2026.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
• Master of Science in Nursing degree or higher (completed or in progress)
• Candidates without a graduate degree (BSN) may be considered when fully qualified faculty are not available and shall teach under the guidance of another qualified faculty member in the department, AND show evidence of a plan for obtaining a graduate degree in nursing within a 5 year period
• A current, unencumbered RN license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
• Clearances and background checks are required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment: PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance.
• Recent clinical experience in pediatric nursing care is required
• Clinical teaching experience is preferred
The School of Nursing clinical instruction includes up to 30% of clinical hours of simulation. Simulations are conducted on the UPG campus. On campus attendance and participation in simulation activities under the guidance of full time faculty is required.
