The Role:

As a MC Driver at DHL based at Yatala QLD, you’ll be responsible for ensuring safe, timely, and secure deliveries while providing excellent customer service. The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday from 6:30am – 2:30pm

Responsibilities

• Delivery of consignment to various customer sites such as major DCs, shopping centres, wholesales & businesses 
• Perform local and shuttle duties as required 
• Build strong relationships with customers 
• Complete the secure delivery of items within specified time frames
• Follow company procedures associated with pre start checks, restraint of loads and securing of vehicle 
• Adherence to stringent security requirements 
• Maintain accurate records using the PDA 
• Ability to complete runs both within Brisbane area and ad hoc deliveries to Sunshine Coast when required

Requirements

• Current MC licence essential 
• Previous experience performing local deliveries within the Brisbane area
• "Can Do" attitude with a high standard of customer service 
• Clear communication skills both written and verbal 
• Knowledge of the Sydney metro area 
• Ability to follow DHL policies & procedures 
• Willingness to provide a current full Driving Record when requested 
• Willingness to undergo a Security Clearance & Pre Employment Medical as part of the recruitment process
