Job Purpose:

The Senior Continuous Improvement Supervisor's mission is to lead and implement improvement initiatives in warehouse operational processes to promote efficiency, quality, and safety. This role includes analyzing and optimizing workflows, identifying improvement opportunities, and fostering a culture of operational excellence.

Additionally, the Supervisor will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop strategies that enhance performance and customer satisfaction, ensuring compliance with company standards and applicable regulations. In their role as an Advisor, the Senior Supervisor acts as a Senior Consultant for operations, focusing on developing and maintaining a culture of excellence at all levels.

Furthermore, they will serve as a mentor and coach for their direct team, aiming to develop skills that facilitate the effective implementation, element by element, of our Operations Management System (OMS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership of Improvement Projects: Direct and manage continuous improvement projects, ensuring their alignment with the strategic objectives of the operation.
  • Process Analysis: Conduct a thorough analysis of current operational processes to identify inefficiencies and optimization opportunities.
  • Strategy Development: Design and implement effective strategies that enhance efficiency, quality, and safety in the warehouse.
  • Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development to staff, fostering a culture of improvement and empowerment within the team.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure the effective implementation of improvement initiatives.
  • Monitoring Key Indicators: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the progress of improvement initiatives.
  • Change Management: Facilitate change management within the team and the operation, ensuring acceptance and adoption of new practices and procedures.
  • Promotion of Innovation: Foster an environment that encourages innovation and creativity in seeking solutions to operational challenges.
  • Planning for New Operations: Lead the plan to ensure that future operational startups are established with the foundations of operational excellence, ensuring a stable and standardized operation.
  • Maintaining Gold Status: Maintain operations in "gold" status for the Autonomous Operations Audit.
  • Reduction of Overtime: Drive the reduction of overtime in operations.
  • Productivity Improvements: Implement consistent productivity improvements in key processes.
  • Annual Savings Goal: Achieve the annual savings goal in collaboration with the operations and support team for the accounts under management.

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Advanced level of the English language for speaking and understanding
  • Advanced knowledge in Excel
  • Knowledge, desirable certifications, in methodologies of: Lean / Continuous Improvement / Lean Manufacturing
  • Skills like leadership, analytical thinking and the ability to teach or convey knowledge
  • Availability to work in Cuautitlán, Tultitlán and Tepotzotlán
  • Experience in similar roles in logistics.
