Role Purpose:
Job Purpose: DHL Procurement is hiring an analyst to join our Sourcing Center of Excellence team in Bogota, Colombia, with two to four years of corporate experience in Procurement or Sourcing. Responsible for sourcing process in multi-categories for multiple business units across the DPDHL Group. This position will provide analytical support with sourcing initiatives utilizing knowledge and experience in the following areas: Data collection, spend and savings analysis, preparation and interpretation of complex data, demand/consumption forecasting, supplier market analysis, supplier assessment, and comparative bid analysis Analytical support during each of the procurement steps to procurement management and staff (bid and tenders)

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, execute, and manage sourcing processes including demand analysis, tender management, and comparative bid analysis
  2. Manage a diverse supplier portfolio and collaborate with internal business units across countries
  3. Provide analytical support in procurement steps: forecasting, supplier assessment, solution design, and bid analysis
  4. Identify process improvement opportunities and optimize tender processes
  5. Support cost reduction, cost avoidance, and capacity sourcing projects
  6. Collect, prepare, and interpret data for business decisions and strategic initiatives
  7. Track, report, and communicate KPIs and procurement initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  8. Prepare presentations and provide guidance or training to colleagues as needed

Your Perfil

  1. BA/BS degree with 3 years’ experience, or MBA with 1 year in business, finance, administration, engineering, or related fields
  2. Education in logistics or supply chain management is advantageous
  3. Knowledge of procurement practices, bid/tender processes, and e-Sourcing platforms (preferred)
  4. Experience in international business or analytical roles is preferable
  5. Fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese is essential
  6. Advanced Excel skills required; knowledge of PowerQuery, PowerBI, Tableau, or similar is a plus
  7. Strong interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills for global collaboration
  8. Result-oriented, analytical, and execution-focused with a passion to develop a career at DHL
