We are currently looking for highly motivated experienced accounting professional to join DHL DGFF on the position of Financial controller

Main Tasks & Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Operations: 

  • Managing core accounting functions such as accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger;
  • Responsible for communication with suppliers and reconciliation of supplier balances collection of Receivables;
  • Responsible for monthly reconciliation of the balances and revenue/cost with the other companies from the Group (intercompany reconciliation);
  • Participate in the monthly and year end closing of the financial accounts, according to month-end schedule and respecting the required deadlines;
  • Ensure tax and statutory compliance;
  • Support the Finance manager and Chief accountant  during financial and tax audits and whenever required;

Compliance & Internal Controls: 

·         Ensuring adherence to financial regulations, internal controls and maintaining data security and governance;

Financial Reporting & Data Analysis: 

  • Overseeing the accurate and timely preparation of financial and operational reports for internal and external stakeholders;
  • Analyzing financial and operational data, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and providing insights to support business decisions;

·         Collaborating on budget process, monitoring Revenue and costs against budget, and forecasting future financial performance;

Required Experience & Qualification:

  •  University degree in Accounting / Finance /Economics;
  •   2-3 years experience on a similar position, previous Audit experience is an advantage;
  •   Very Good level of English – written and spoken;
  •   Good knowledge of accounting standards and Bulgarian tax legislation;
  •   Computer literacy and very good Excel skills;
  •   System knowledge and experience with Oracle application will be considered an advantage;
