Job Purpose:

As an Insurance Operations Analyst, you will support the global Insurance Operations team with both administrative and analytical responsibilities. This hybrid role focuses on managing insurance programme processes (such as premium collection and certificate issuance), ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and driving process improvements.

You will also play a key role in data analysis, using tools like Excel and Power BI to develop reports, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making. Your insights will help shape operational improvements, and you’ll be involved in quality assurance, reporting, and supporting change initiatives across the insurance operations function.

Key Responsibilities:

Insurance Programme Administration

  • Proactively chase and escalate delayed, queried, or unpaid invoices to ensure timely settlement.
  • Monitor and report on global premium collection performance, identifying trends and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-border IRM teams to meet shared objectives and uphold best-in-class service standards.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Collect, validate, and analyse insurance operations data to support reporting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
  • Apply data analysis tools and processes (e.g., Excel, Power BI) to identify patterns, trends, and insights, supporting both routine and predictive analytics.
  • Maintain and improve data quality and reporting standards across insurance programme activities.

Project Support & Process Improvement

  • Assist in identifying process improvement opportunities through established quality procedures.
  • Support the development of business requirements and documentation for system or process changes.
  • Contribute to testing activities and help resolve issues arising from system enhancements or data changes.
  • Provide general administrative support for quality and change initiatives to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with business goals.

Your profile:

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Solid experience in large-scale data analysis within insurance or financial services (minimum 3 years).
  • Clear, professional communicator with the ability to work across global, cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organized, capable of multi-tasking, and meeting tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English; additional language skills are a plus.
