This Opportunity:

• Assist in the construction of small to medium-sized projects, or contribute to specific phases of larger-scale initiatives.
• Work under the guidance of senior Construction Services team members, gaining valuable mentorship and insight.
• Support engineers and surveyors with daily project tasks, both in the field and office settings.
• Gain firsthand experience in engineering and surveying practices.
• Explore how your academic background applies to real-world consulting in engineering and surveying.
• Participate in a variety of transportation-related projects, including construction observation and field survey work.
• Document and report project activities using client-specific software tools.

Essential Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing an Associate’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage tasks and responsibilities effectively.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to follow directions.
• Professional demeanor, including punctuality and preparedness.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work onsite in varied weather and terrain
• Willingness to travel for work related tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

• Training and/or field experience on construction projects.
• Active Driver's License

This position requires an MVR records check verifying that you possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record which meets the requirements of SEH’s Driving Program.
