Position Summary:
Perform general Supply Chain and Logistics activities in the receiving, inventory control, handling, and storage, and shipping processes in the regulated manufacturing environment.


Job Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for the receipt of materials, material handling, and product shipping, but not limited to the following:
• Check materials for use and consumption in the SAP system
• Check quantities of incoming materials or semi-finished products
• Perform routine and periodic physical inventory count to ensure the correct packaging and storage of raw materials/semi-finished products
• Ensure correct storage of store materials and products
• Transfer materials for packaging to meet the demands of the various areas
• Conduct inventory control and stock counting to ensure non-compliant item disposal in accordance with area policy.
• Pick orders, track, and check items in the warehouse
• Confirm order information, carrier, place, remarks, shipping address
• Monitor pending orders, support in closing of packages for shipping
• Comply with all medical device regulation requirements, internal and general, and human resources policies of Straumann Manufacturing, Inc.
• Forklift and/or pallet jack usage
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Ensures safety of manufacturing processes to protect employees from work-related harm (zero-accident mentality).
• Comply with the Medical Devices Good Manufacturing Practices
• Other duties as assigned by the management.

Physical Attributes:
• Standing for long periods and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment:

Minimum Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in the supply chain/logistics area or warehouse
• Proficient in SAP other ERP systems
• Able to interact with a computer-managed workflow.
• Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Basic Excel.


Preferred Qualifications:
• Basic knowledge of machine operation
• Basic understanding of the manufacturing requirements in regulated environments.
• Basic understanding of medical devices or dental implant products.
• Basic knowledge of FDA regulations
• Ability to work with small, high-quality parts and attention to detail.
• Able to communicate and collaborate effectively.
