If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Business Development Manager at DHL Hungary.
What will be your job description?
Develop and expand logistics services across DHL Global Forwarding Freight, DHL Supply Chain and DHL Express in Hungary.
Utilize your knowledge of warehousing operations and/or freight forwarding to identify potential customers and businesses that align with our logistics operations, increasing synergies and exploring domestic and international opportunities.
Maintain contact with customers, logistics operations, and support functions, managing all administrative tasks related to the business development processes.
Report on opportunities, expected logistics requirements, gross profit, and risks.
Manage the contracting process for new businesses.
Seek proper and fitting opportunities, negotiate rates with customers while considering gross profit expectations.
Provide fast reaction and feedback to customers.
Collaborate in logistics projects, collecting market requests to develop warehousing services and freight forwarding business.
Ensure compliance with company standards.
What do we expect from you?
Minimum of 3-4 years of business development experience with a proven track record
Strong knowledge of warehousing operations, logistics sector experience, and connections with potential customers.
Understanding of key financial drivers and KPIs in the logistics industry.
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
Excellent customer relationship skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills – ability for BITE/can do attitude
College/university degree in a relevant field.
Proficiency in MS Office tools
Fluent in Chinese and English
Willingness to travel between sites and/visit customers
