Title: Director of Early College Initiatives
Unit: Non-Unit Professional (NUP)

General Summary: The Director of Early College Initiatives is responsible for the support, development, implementation and assessment of innovative educational collaborations among the college's K-12 partners, community constituency groups, and individual learners seeking degree completion and/or academic opportunity, with the goal of promoting student achievement at all educational levels. Under the direction of the Dean of K-16 Partnerships, the director will promote student success through the design of systems, services, and strategies linking and aligning postsecondary education with current best practices in the field. Consistent with this goal, the director will facilitate initiatives that build collective capacity across academic disciplines and student services to provide high quality approaches to college readiness, degree attainment, and student success. The director is also responsible for the oversite and implementation of academic goals and initiatives related to all aspects of our concurrent enrollment partnerships, Early College designated high schools and the related grant parameters.

Salary Range: $83,000-$93,000; actual salary commensurate with academic background and experience. Employees of Middlesex Community College are considered employees of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and receive benefits, which include:
Location: Lowell campus with occasional travel to Bedford as needed
Hours: 37.5 per week, schedule to be determined upon hire, this position will be eligible for a maximum of one days of telework in accordance with the College's telework policy.
