Job Description:
SUMMARY:
The Reception Control Desk Team (RCDT) Chief will oversee augmentation support to the MaD Bde S-1/3/5/7/AG, Soldier Readiness Processing Center (SRPC). The RCDT Chief is responsible for ensuring that all the “Task Orders” listed in the PWS are understood and accomplished by the SRPC contractor personnel. The RCDT Chief will serve as the liaison between the SRPC contractor personnel and the ACOR of the SRPC: this includes all military and civilian personnel assigned to or associated with the SRPC. All operational requirements and disputes will be routed and handled between the DRC Supervisor and the ACOR. The RCDT Chief will assist the OIC / NCOIC and coordinate the activities of the SRPC .
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides full service in-and-out processing support for service members, contractors, and civilians.
- Provides a control element for S-1/3/5/7/AG in-and-out processing activities.
- Oversees the contractor operation of the SRPC Reception Control Front Desk, Briefing Trailer, and Scheduling Desk
- Prepares and reviews operational reports and schedules to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Sets goals and deadlines for the functional area.
- Analyzes internal processes and recommends and implements procedural or policy changes to improve operations.
- Oversee Administrative Chief reports.
- Oversee SRPC briefings for service members, DOD civilians and contractors.
- Oversee the process of DD Form 93 (Record of Emergency Data Sheet) for NLC's (Non-Log Cap), Scheduling, Traffic Movement Control, Adjutant General (AG), and Final out sections.
- Monitors the scheduling department such as rosters, emails, appointment confirmations.
- Security (S2): Prepares and submits documents for a T1 Investigation such as a DD Form 1172 (Application for identification Card/DEERS Enrollment), Form 306 (Declaration for Federal Employment) and a Fort Bliss Form: Request for Personnel Security Action (RPSA) to start a Common Access Card (CAC) process.
- Daily maintains a Standard Form 701 (SF701) Activity Security Checklist.
- IT/S6 Support: Maintain and submit documents for NIPR access such as a DD Form 2875, Cyber training, and Army IT Use Access Agreement to grant access to Department of Defense (DOD) systems and information such as ATCTS accounts and availability to access trainings and submit tickets for computer support and issues.
- Assist RSG – BLDG Operations with rosters, process, MOB/DEMOB.
- Attends weekly & monthly meetings.
- Attends sync meetings as needed.
- Understand and comply with all Performance Work Statement requirements.
- Will support and enforce the QC/Safety's Programs guidance.
- Adherence to all TLC Policies accessed through Deltek Costpoint via the following path.

- This position supports the DOD on a federal installation and the candidate must be available to work at the assigned physical location during business hours.

NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Other duties as assigned/approved by management.
- Oversees and monitors employee performance, training, development, and recognition.
- Oversees the Chiefs Leads / Traffic Clerks & Traffic Schedulers.
- Advice DRC Administrative Supervisor on any issues.
- Creates work schedules and keeps team members informed of mission report times.
- Ensures all tasks are performed in a timely and accurate manner according to set policy and standard.
- Adherence to all TLC Policies accessed through Deltek Costpoint via the following path.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Essential :
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
- Three (3) yrs. directly relevant technical experience may be substituted for education.
- Two (2) yrs. Military Administrative Support Operations experience
- Two (2) yrs. Leadership or Staff experience
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems, such as word processing, files/records management, etc.
- Basic knowledge of military programs and social services
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of business management principles involved in planning.
- Knowledge of Army rank structure and military unit relationships
- Knowledge of mobilization/demobilization operations IAW FORSCOM Regulation 500-3-1 through 500-3-5
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services (i.e., customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction)
- Ability to monitor/assess performance of self, other individuals, and organizations to make improvements or task corrective action.
- Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Excellent reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Must have a very high degree of attention to detail.
- Must be able to perform under deadlines.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work is generally performed in an office environment which requires sitting or standing and working on a
computer for long periods of time . Required to walk, stand, sit and move about the property for long periods of time. Essential and marginal functions require maintaining physical condition necessary for: bending, stooping, sitting, walking, or standing for prolonged periods of time, operating through extended periods of high stress. If applicable t he employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Must possess visual acuity to review written documentation; ability to hear and understand speech at normal room levels and on the telephone; and the manual dexterity to operate a cell phone, handheld radio, telephone, and keyboard.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/HOURS: This position is not eligible for remote work, as the essential functions of the role require the employee to perform duties on-site. Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. If applicable work 10(+) hours per day. Must be able to work in fast paced, multi-task environment. Will require having flexed hours to accommodate for mission requirements to include weekends and Holidays. Overtime may be required.
